IMPORTANT BLOG INFO!

I love reading all of your comments on my blog, but I've noticed a couple of things that we need to be aware of.  First of all, the Blog site only allows me a certain amount of writing space, so be sure you keep your comments to just 2 or 3 sentences, so you don't take space from other kids.  I had to delete some of the comments that were too long, but I DID read them first!  :)

Secondly, I notice some of you asked me homework questions.  I don't check the blog every day, so if you have a homework question, it may not get answered in enough time to help you.  If you need help with a homework question, try asking a friend, or checking the 4th grade HW page, or looking on my Important Information page.  Remember...the Important Information page has lots of examples and explanations down at the bottom of the page.

Now....my next question of the day is:  This Thanksgiving, what are you most thankful for ABOUT SCHOOL?  In other words, why do you feel blessed to be able to go to Parish?

Welcome New Fourth Graders!

Welcome to my blog!  I will be posting questions and comments for you all during the year.  If you'd like to comment back, just follow the directions we went over in class.

My first question for you is this:  Now you know something about your brain, what do you think you have learned that will be the most important information for you in the future?

KEEP IN TOUCH!

Even though 4th grade is over for this year, I'll be checking my blog every week or so, so stay in touch!  Let me know what you remember about 4th grade science, and share your vacations with me...I love to hear about where my students are traveling and what they are doing.  I hope you enjoyed science this year...I know I certainly did!  :-)

CSI: Here we come!

Now that we know the names of our bones, we are ready to become forensic scientists and solve some mysteries of skeletons found in strange places.  Do you like forensic science shows?  If so, which ones do you like to watch?

MY SCIENCE CLASSES ROCK!

I am so excited about your dinosaur projects! Each of you has done a wonderful job in sharing your research. I love the movies, the Power Points, the posters, the dioramas, the written reports, and all the wonderful pictures. Everything I've seen is very creative and interesting. I am SO PROUD of you all!
