KEEP IN TOUCH!

Even though 4th grade is over for this year, I'll be checking my blog every week or so, so stay in touch!  Let me know what you remember about 4th grade science, and share your vacations with me...I love to hear about where my students are traveling and what they are doing.  I hope you enjoyed science this year...I know I certainly did!  :-)

  9. STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Math...it's just a combination name for all the things we do already at Parish, but instead of having four names, we all have one name for the subject we teach. I'm STEM, Mrs. Aderhold is STEM and Mrs. Henard is STEM

  10. Welcome to my blog, Fourth Graders of 2011-2012! My question for you is: What is the coolest thing you've learned about the brain that can help you with your life???

I think that the brain is helping you in your life when you know what all the parts of the brain do so if you wanted to become a brain surgeon.

    Hi,
We have been in up here for about 2 weeks and everything is going great.
We bought a house and have unpacked all the boxes, and yes I found my knitting supplies, but... i haven't knitted since i moved. i am now taking a rocket science camp!!! we make & launch rockets, today I made a homemade rocket. we launched it, and our counselor (maybe my future 5th grade teacher) guessed it would go about 300 ft, and i think it did. i called my rocket the death star after the huge star wars air-craft even though my rocket was about 18 inches high :) my counselor is very neat he raises honey- bees, and he once ( with his class) designed a rocket with 2 stages that went over1,400 ft high! my counselor is pretty neat but you still are the best teacher i have ever had!
    talk to you later,
